Have you seen “The way way back”?
It came out last summer. We went to a free preview with my sister and the Kids. I think, other than maybe the Harry Potter movies, it was the one movie that we have ever all loved. It’s special, in an awkward teenager finding wonder in the world kind of way. Add it to your movie list. It’s on HBO right now and maybe Netflix too.
“When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when something’s suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful.” – Bloom
We can place this under WTF…

Milo Moire is a German artist who has an unconventional way of painting—instead of using a paintbrush, she literally gives birth to her artwork by pushing paint-filled eggs out from her vagina.Titled ‘PlopEgg’, Moire performed the demonstration at the opening of the 2014 Art Cologne fair.Standing on an elevated platform, she ‘gives birth’ to the eggs and drops them on a canvas underneath her, creating an abstract painting.
After all the eggs have been pushed out, she folds the canvas, creating a “symmetrically reflected picture”.
According to Moire, her performance embodies the “symbolic strength of the casual and the creative power of the femininity”.
Sounds familiar doesn’t it???
